Thank you to all who came to the Impact @ Home meeting tonight. What an amazing group of parents. Seeing your hearts for Jesus and your children is such an encouragement to us. It is a privilege to go before our Father and intercede on behalf of the folks at Impact as well as the families back home. As many said and prayed, we are truly blessed to be part of the body of Christ at Providence. We stand amazed at the awesome God we serve!

We personally want to thank the family that sacrificed being a part of this evening's meeting to watch our youngest child so that we could facilitate. They took the low place and we are so very grateful. We love our family of faith!!!

Hey Steve! Love hearing about what is going on at camp! Some of us in our neighborhood were able to get together on a different night to pray for the kids. Some were unable to make it the other nights. I printed off the different areas (counselors, nurses, students, etc..) you had on the website to pray for and each person took one to pray for in our group prayer time. It was a precious time! Being there were about 10 of us we were also able to share some specifics our kids were needing prayer in. We are all waiting to hear what God has done this week and we wait expecting Him to do great and mighty things. We love you brother and hope you are getting some rest! Libby

Thank you for posting this update, Steve. You're absolutely right about the importance of parents praying for their children. I have been praying for all the children, numerous times a day as the Lord leads.

I agree that it is crucial that parents understand what God is doing with their children this week. I don't want my boys walking through the door just to tell them "I'm glad you had a nice time, please take out the trash." Whatever direction God has pointed my children, I want to be able to say to them "I am so excited about what God is doing in your life! How can I help you as you walk the path God is leading you?" I will continue to pray for the staff, the children and their parents. Julia
